Consulting Point is supporting the search for a Founding Sales Leader on behalf of a specialist AI engineering and platform consultancy.
The company partners with startups, SaaS businesses and enterprise technology teams to design, build and scale AI-native applications, modern software platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Their work spans AI application development, SaaS engineering, platform modernisation and data infrastructure, helping clients move from early-stage product ideas through to scalable, production-grade systems.
Operating with an architecture-first delivery model, the business combines strategic technical thinking with hands-on engineering execution. Every engagement begins with system design, ensuring platforms are built for long-term scale, reliability and performance from day one.
Alongside core engineering services, the company is also developing proprietary AI-enabled commercial tooling focused on identifying real-time buying signals, improving outbound precision and helping clients generate more qualified sales conversations through data-driven market intelligence.
Following strong early traction and increasing market demand, the company is now looking to hire its first dedicated commercial leader to help shape and scale the go-to-market function.
This is a genuine founding commercial role, working directly with the founders and leadership team to influence commercial strategy, client development and long-term growth.
The role will involve:
• Developing and executing the company’s commercial and sales strategy
• Building relationships with founders, CTOs, product leaders and senior technology stakeholders
• Generating new business opportunities across startup, SaaS and enterprise technology ecosystems
• Managing the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through to commercial close
• Helping refine the company’s positioning, messaging and market approach
• Contributing to the development of a scalable and repeatable revenue function
• Working closely with leadership on growth strategy, partnerships and market expansion
We are interested in candidates who have experience selling high-value technology services, digital engineering capability or complex software solutions into technology-led organisations.
Individuals from AI engineering firms, digital consultancies, software platform businesses, cloud transformation providers or modern technology services environments would be particularly relevant.
The environment is entrepreneurial, highly collaborative and technically driven, suited to someone comfortable operating in an early-stage business and helping shape the future direction of the company.
Compensation includes base salary, commission and equity participation.
