£30,000 - £35,000 + Mon - Friday + Days Based + Site Based.

Are you a Health and Safety Officer or similar looking for a stable full-time, site-based role where you can take full ownership of health and safety within a busy manufacturing environment?
On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established, third-generation family food production business as a Health and Safety Officer. This is a stand-alone role, responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of health and safety across the site, ensuring full compliance with legislation and promoting a strong safety culture.
In this role, you will work closely with managers and operational teams to monitor compliance, carry out site inspections, investigate incidents, deliver training, and continuously improve health and safety standards across the business.
This role would suit a NEBOSH-qualified Health and Safety Officer with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, looking for a stable, full-time position.
The Role:
Full responsibility for the site Health & Safety function
Carrying out audits, inspections and risk assessments
Investigating incidents and implementing corrective actions
Delivering training (inductions, toolbox talks) and maintaining compliance records, KPIs and safety documentation. Mon- Fri 40 hour week.
The Person:
Health and Safety Officer or similar- UK experience
NEBOSH
Background in manufacturing, engineering or industrial environments
Commutable to Howden
