Your new job working as a Policy Technician will be working for an established Global Lloyd's Brokers who employ over 700 employees around the world and have a global footprint across more than 150 countries. Due to expansion within the Worldwide Property team, a position for a Policy Technician has arisen.

Your new role

Your new role as a Policy Technician means that you will be responsible for the production of Policy documentation to enhance the service provided to Clients/Agents, together with the checking of MRC Slips and endorsements, and checking policy documents prior to bureau submission. Some of your key responsibilities will include checking Market Reform contracts and certificate documentation as produced by account handlers or Technician, liaising with Underwriters’ representatives, feeding back to Account Handlers details of errors in producing the document and Checking Market Reform Contracts or other policy documents prior to submission to PPL / Whitespace. You must ensure that you keep up withpliance practices alongside keeping up with market and regulatory requirements and undertaking any other responsibilities that may be necessary in this role. Other duties will include liaising with stakeholders, Clients and Underwriters daily.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed in this role, you would ideally have experience of handling Wordings in respect of Worldwide Open Market Business. Or have experience in checking of MRC slips and endorsements prior to bureau submission from a Broker or insurer, as well as possessing proficient knowledge of the wording, policy structure and clausebinations. You should have knowledge of Global XB, Microsoft Office Programmes/Outlook and Internet Explorer. This role would suit a candidate who can manage their workload, act independently, has an affinity for relationship building, possesses good administration and time management skills and who is able to work collaboratively with others.
