About Us
Middlesbrough Council Children’s Services ambition is to increase its permanent workforce in the areas that are difficult to recruit to.
The Children’s Services Transformation Programme has responded to the challenge of attracting and retaining Children’s Social Care workers by creating a role focused on enhancing attraction, recruitment, and retention activities.
The successful candidate will work alongside the existing recruitment team to attract, retain, and onboard the best Children’s Social Care talent. To succeed in this role, you need a good understanding of Children’s Social Care and its recruitment challenges.
You will also require a degree-level or equivalent qualification. More details are provided in the Job Description and Personal Specification.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering a Workforce Development Strategy that includes attracting potential candidates through innovative and effective activities.
* Building effective relationships with the existing workforce, including agency staff.
* Collecting key workforce data to understand trends and performance.
