As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for attending client sites to carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on a range of electrical systems and equipment.
While the role is based in Saffron Walden, it will involve regular travel to customer locations across the UK. There may be 12 nights per week where overnight stays are required, with all travel and accommodation costs fully covered by the client.
Attend client sites to diagnose electrical faults and carry out repairs
Perform routine servicing and maintenance of electrical systems
Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
Complete service reports and documentation accurately
Proven experience working within an electrical engineering environment (essential)
Previous field service experience is desirable, but not essential
Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment would be highly advantageous
Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
