PH Water & Air Technologies is recruiting a Lead Small Works Engineer within their Water Hygiene/Water Treatment Division. You’ll need to be fully conversant with HSG274/ACOP L8 guidelines as your experience working within the Water Hygiene/Water Treatment sector will be fully utilised. You’ll work closely with colleagues on various sites in and around London so if you reside no more than a two-hour commute into London, this would be ideal.

We offer a competitive salary of £28,000 to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, 25 days holiday per year, plus Bank Holiday’s, company vehicle, a financial loyalty bonus and other benefits we’d be happy to tell you about. There’s lots of overtime available too equating up to £12,000 per annum.
Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
Conduct visual inspections of water systems, including water sampling and analysis of closed systems using a site test kit
Inspect and service thermostatic mixer valves (TMVs)
Carry out chemical dosing of water systems
Perform cleaning and disinfection of pipework systems, cold-water storage tanks, and cooling towers in accordance with BS 8558:2011
Can you show experience in some of these areas?
Demonstrates mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and some plumbing experience
Positive attitude, enthusiasm for the company and role, and ability to work unsupervised while overcoming challenges
Confidently discusses technical issues and accurately records detailed engineer’s reports and logbooks
Capable of physical work (lifting, carrying, climbing) and holds a full UK driving license
