This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote. The role involves working on engineering projects for new nuclear facilities and upgrades, applying knowledge of materials, structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing design calculations, developing specifications, and supporting designers with drawing development.
Responsibilities
* Apply knowledge of materials, structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design
* Prepare and review design calculations, develop specifications, and support designers
* Perform structural analysis and design using state-of-the-art computer tools
* Potential travel to client and vendor offices and plant site locations
Qualifications
* BS degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
* MS degree in Civil Engineering or 1 year of experience in structural design and analysis
* Experience with structural analysis software and design codes preferred
* Good written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range: $66,000.00 - $94,810.00
