Your Role: Collaborate closely with the class teacher to deliver an engaging EYFS curriculum, supporting both individual and small group activities. Provide responsive support to children, fostering their social, emotional, and academic development both inside and outside the classroom. Contribute to creating a warm, inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and independence. Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing valuable insights to tailor learning experiences to individual needs. Assist in planning, preparing, and organizing educational resources to maintain a stimulating and well-structured classroom environment. Engage with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure each child’s well-being and development are supported. Implement positive behaviour management strategies to help children build strong social and emotional skills. Ideal Candidate: Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Proven experience in an EYFS setting with a solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development. Patient, empathetic, adaptable, with excellent communication skills. A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Confident in implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere. Requirements: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
