About the Role
We're a small but busy IT team looking for an Office Administrator who's happy to roll up their sleeves and keep things running smoothly. This role is varied; one day you might be helping with invoices or staff records, the next you'll be putting together a flyer, taking meeting notes, or chasing suppliers.
It's a hands-on position, not a coordinator role, so we're looking for someone reliable, well-organised, and ready to take ownership of day-to-day tasks. You'll also work closely with three directors, so being able to support them effectively is key.
What You'll Do
* Diary management, meeting notes, and travel arrangements for directors
* HR admin (onboarding, holiday records, BrightHR updates)
* Finance support (invoices, expenses, supplier payments, reconciliations)
* Ordering kit, managing suppliers, and tracking deliveries
* Customer admin support (contracts via DocuSign, onboarding, scheduling)
* General office duties (supplies, post, appointment booking)
* Light marketing support (Canva documents, flyers, working with partners)
What We're Looking For
* 3+ years' experience in office administration, PA/EA, or similar
* Confident with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Some experience across HR, finance, or marketing would be an advantage
* Organised, detail-focused, and dependable
* Comfortable working closely with directors and staff
* Someone looking for a long-term role with opportunities to grow
What We Offer
* Salary from £32,000 per year (depending on experience)
* 35–40 hours per week, Mon–Fri (option of compressed 4-day week)
* Company pension and on-site parking
* Training and development in HR, finance, and marketing
* A varied role with genuine long-term prospects
Location
* Office based, Basingstoke
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
Benefits:
* Company pension
* On-site parking
Application question(s):
* Are you able to commute to our Basingstoke office daily?
* Do you have experience supporting directors or senior management (e.g. diary management, meeting minutes, travel booking)?
* Have you had exposure to finance tasks (invoices, expenses, or bookkeeping using software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)?
* Have you used any HR systems (such as BrightHR) to manage staff records, holidays, or onboarding?
* Do you have experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) daily?
* Have you ever created documents or marketing materials using Canva or similar tools?
* Are you looking for a long-term role where you can grow into wider responsibilities?
* Our hours are 35–40 per week (Mon–Fri, or option of a 4-day week). Would this arrangement work for you?
