Architectural Assistant: Technical Knowledge - London Office
We are looking for an Architectural Assistant, based in our London office, to work within the Technical Design Team to assist on producing, collating and sharing of architectural information from projects to our various project teams across the practice.
Our experienced Technical Design Team has been built up to act as an integral part of the design process with our architectural teams. Part of their work involves collating and making accessible information developed on current projects so that this intelligence can be made available to future projects through the publication of office wide guidance, research and archive material.
Our ideal applicant for this role has/is:
1. A recent RIBA Part 2 qualification (within the last two years) or equivalent, that has architectural or architectural Technologist experience
2. Good verbal and written communication skills
3. Good graphics skills, in architectural drawings and the use of desktop publishing software (Indesign)
4. Working knowledge of Microstation and Revit is an advantage
5. Research skills and a solid grasp of technical detailing
6. Some working knowledge of the construction industry is an advantage
7. A good team player with the ability to encourage others to engage in their work
