Freelance Quantity Surveyor
Location: £300 - £350 a day outside IR35
Rate: Outside IR35, rate negotiable depending upon experience
Duration: 12-month ongoing contract
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyorto join a Contractor who specialises in drainage and highways framework projects.
Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a Civil Engineering, Highways project in the Essex area on a long-term project.
This company are open to freelance for this specific contract and will look at drawing up a long-term contract.
Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:
1. Management of Sub-Contractors
2. CVRs and Compensation events
3. Progress and Commercial reporting meetings
4. BQQs and measurement
Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:
5. Worked as a Quantity Surveyor previously
6. Work in accordance with NEC form of contract
7. Client facing and able to work with site teams
8. Civils experience including highways, drainage and Surfacing
