Job Title: Warehouse Shift Manager Location: Bedford, MK41 0LZ Job Length: Permanent Working Hours: 45 hours per week, working on the Night Shift. Starting at10pm and finishing at 6am on a Sunday to Thursday basis. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours to suit business needs. About the role: As Warehouse Shift Manager, youll lead and support the team to keep operations running safely, accurately, and on time. Youll be hands-on in making sure stock is handled correctly, orders are picked with accuracy, and our people have the right support to perform at their best. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role will play a key part of our succuss journey and you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following: Role Responsibilities: Providing skills required to deliver to our customers on time and in full Providing a high-quality service to suit customers needs Working closely with the transport and office teams to ensure a smooth running of operations and meeting overall site objectives Supervising a team of operatives on the late shift Holding health and safety at the forefront of all warehouse procedures to maintain a safe working environment at all times Check for picking accuracy and breakages with investigations where necessary. Experience and Key Attributes: IT Literate with experience using MS Office and SAP.
