Insurance Pricing Analyst - Maidstone - Hybrid (3 days per week) - £60,-£70,
The Role
We're looking for a commercially minded professional to join a dynamic team at the intersection of underwriting and marketing. This role focuses on building models, analysing data, and making actionable recommendations to optimise pricing, maximise sales volume, and improve revenue per sale.
The successful candidate will:
1. Build and implement dynamic pricing models balancing competitiveness with profitability
2. Analyse conversion rates, average premiums and customer lifetime value to inform commercial decisions
3. Identify pricing levers to drive growth across multiple distribution channels
4. Conduct A/B testing and use data analytics to validate pricing strategies and refine models
5. Collaborate with underwriters to align pricing with risk appetite and portfolio targets
6. Partner with marketing to optimise promotional pricing, product positioning, and campaign planning
7. Communicate insights and recommendations clearly across teams
Role requirements
8. Strong commercial mindset with ability to make actionable recommendations
9. Data modelling, analysis and pricing strategy experience
10. Analytical skills including A/B testing and performance measurement
11. Collaborative approach across underwriting and marketing teams
12. Proven track record or demonstrable ability to deliver within this remit; attitude and drive to make impact are highly valued
