Bognor Regis
My Sisters' House Women's Centre Services by women, for women
Posted: 10 November
Offer description

At My Sisters’ House Women’s Centre, we don’t just offer support—we walk alongside women as they rebuild their lives.

We’re a trauma-informed, community-rooted organisation offering holistic services that increase safety, reduce isolation, and empower women to move forward with their lives.

We’re looking for a Domestic Abuse Team Lead who’s ready to lead with heart, advocate fiercely, and bring clarity and calm to complex situations. This is a role for someone who thrives in frontline work, knows how to lift a team, and is passionate about making a real difference.

Due to the nature of our service, this role is open to women only under Paragraph 27, Schedule 3 of the Equality Act 2010.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Leading and motivating our Domestic Abuse Team to deliver high-quality domestic abuse support
2. Holding your own caseload and providing tailored, trauma-informed care
3. Carrying out DASH risk assessments and safety planning, including MARAC referrals
4. Offering emotional support and helping women manage their wellbeing independently
5. Working closely with external partners in mental health, substance misuse, and safeguarding
6. Advocating for clients with agencies including police, housing, and health services
7. Facilitating group sessions and responding to multiple compound needs
8. Supervising staff and volunteers, conducting case reviews, and supporting professional development
9. Assisting in training delivery and deputising for the Service Manager when needed
10. Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service monitoring
11. Attending networking events and working across both Chichester and Bognor offices

What we’re looking for:

12. Qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor
13. Confidence in leading teams and managing complex caseloads
14. Knowledge of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and multi-agency working
15. A calm, clear voice in crisis—and a strong advocate for women’s rights
16. A commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and community transformation
