The role
The Electrical Technician is an essential member of the Direct Repairs department, providing a comprehensive, efficient, and responsive property service. The role may involve occasional Out of Hours work, which will add to your earnings. As part of the Direct Services Team, your primary focus is delivering high-quality responsive maintenance to residents, colleagues, and partners. You will support operatives in managing repairs effectively from issue to completion, ensuring quality assurance.
Location
The role is primarily based in the West Midlands but requires travel to Coventry, Daventry, Northampton, and Milton Keynes for routine electrical repairs. A work van will be provided.
What you'll have
* Proven experience as an Electrician with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Trade qualifications required
* City and Guilds 18th Edition Certificate
* Qualified to Part 1 & 2 City and Guilds for electrical installation
* City and Guilds 2391 testing and inspection (desirable)
Additional requirements
You must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than six points and no serious motoring offences in the last 10 years (e.g., CD, DD, DG, DR, IN, MR, TT). A minimum of two years driving experience is required. Driving licence checks will be part of pre-employment screening.
