Registered Manager
Residential Children’s Home (EBD)
Location: Hendon, North West London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + performance bonuses
If you’re the kind of Registered Manager who cares about doing things properly, this might be right up your street.
You’ll be leading a small children’s home in Hendon that supports young people with emotional and behavioural needs. It’s backed by a provider that already runs three other homes, all built on strong practice and thoughtful leadership. The kind of place where training is done well and people genuinely stick around.
They’re growing steadily and want someone who’s ready to grow with them. Someone who can lead a home with confidence and heart, while having the freedom to run it their way with real support behind the scenes.
What the role’s about
You’ll be the Registered Manager responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the home; keeping things safe, consistent and child-centred. You’ll lead your team with warmth and clarity, embedding a culture that reflects the home’s purpose: stability, care and belonging.
You’ll work with a senior team who know what “good” really looks like; people who’ve done the job. The focus is on doing the basics brilliantly and keeping Ofsted readiness a natural part of the rhythm, not a panic button.
What you’ll need
* Experience being a Registered Manager of an EBD children's home
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or close to finishing)
* A strong understanding of the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted frameworks
* Leadership that’s calm, fair and rooted in care
* A full UK driving licence
What you’ll get
* Up to £70,000 per year + bonuses linked to quality and occupancy
* Genuine investment in your training and development
* Clear route into multi-home or regional leadership as the group expands
* Reflective supervision and peer support from experienced leaders
* A stable, people-first culture that lets you focus on what matters
This is a chance to run a home where you’ll be trusted to lead and supported to succeed; surrounded by people who understand that good care takes time, consistency and heart.
If that sounds like you, let’s start a conversation.
