Many pupils also have additional SEND needs, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. We are seeking a passionate, flexible, and resilient teacher who believes in putting children first. At Mountfields Park, we are teachers of children before subjects, building positive relationships and creating safe, engaging learning environments where every pupil can succeed. The successful candidate will teach their specialist subject alongside a second subject area and support pupils using a trauma-informed approach. Our curriculum includes GCSEs, Functional Skills, BTECs, and The King’s Trust Achieve Programme, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally. Key responsibilities include: Delivering engaging and creative lessons up to GCSE or vocational level Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs Building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues Adapting learning to meet individual needs while maintaining high expectations Contributing to extracurricular opportunities and wider school life We welcome applications from a range of subject specialisms, particularly those with experience or interest in Art, PE, or Health & Social Care. However, personal qualities, values, and commitment to supporting young people are the most important factors.
