BHRUT is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic midwife to join our team as a Band 7 Senior Midwife Manager for the Antenatal Clinic. If you are an NMC-registered midwife who has an NMC PIN number and would like to make a difference to women and their families, then we would like to hear from you. Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Specialty Maternity Matron and Deputy Matron to manage the midwifery and nursing staff and resources within the ward/department areas to provide high-quality and cost-effective clinical care.
Working closely with the Lead Midwives to develop and promote midwifery/clinical practice. He/she will set and monitor both clinical and non-clinical performance standards and intervene to secure an immediate remedy where there is a shortfall, in conjunction with obstetric colleagues. Our Senior Midwifery Manager posts at BHRUT are rotational.

2. MSc in relevant subject (evidence of working towards i.e. already on pathway)
3. NIPE/NALS

4. Substantial post registration experience ( Including working at Band 6 and above)
5. Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable criteria
6. Post-graduate management/leadership qualification and/ or equivalent level of knowledge gained through extensive experience.
