We are seeking a State Registered Clinical Scientist in Bioinformatics (Genomics) or an STP trainee graduating this year to join our team at the Manchester site. The role involves delivering a high-quality diagnostic service and engaging in cutting-edge translational development.
The Genomic Diagnostics Laboratory is a large, accredited service providing an integrated diagnostic service to a population of approximately 5 million in the North West, along with national and international referrals.
Our ethos emphasizes teamwork. We deliver and report modern diagnostic tests, with opportunities to develop and implement new technologies, tests, and workflows. Flexibility and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
You should have an excellent track record in service delivery, with a clear vision for maintaining and enhancing the genomics laboratory service, including quality, governance, efficiency, and clinical utility. Experience in service development and training is also desirable.
