We’re a welcoming and busy small animal practice based in Winnersh, and we’re now looking for a Student Veterinary Nurse to join our lovely team.
This role is perfect if you’re looking for hands on experience within a supportive practice who have a great record of growing Nurses into their careers.
You’ll be working alongside 4 Vets, 5 Nurses, a Saturday VCA and a dedicated Reception team. Our team are multi-talented and hold certificates for feline, canine and rabbit friendly status. One of our vets holds an ophthalmology certificate and there are small mammal and internal medicine certificates in process.
Education and support for our team is important to us, and we encourage all our colleagues work together to provide a supportive learning environment.
We are looking for an SVN with excellent communication and organisation skills and who takes pride in working to a high standard. You should have a genuine interest in animal care and welfare and want to join a practice while working towards the qualification of a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
This position is full-time working 40 hours per week. Rota pattern is Monday-Friday with a mix of 8.30am-5pm and 11am-7.30pm shifts over the week. Saturday hours 8.30am - 5pm will be expected as 1:5 once sufficient training is complete.
