Housekeeping Assistant role at HC-One, with focus on kindness and attentive care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for Residents, who have rich lives and personal stories.
Responsibilities
* Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
* Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
* Supporting infection control and safety standards
* Helping with laundry and linen care
* Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
You’ll take pride in your work and work with care and compassion. You’ll be organised, manage time well, and pay attention to detail. A positive attitude and kindness in every interaction with Residents, visitors, and your team are essential.
Safeguarding is a shared responsibility; you should recognise signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and may undertake additional training as needed.
