We are recruiting for Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our team at our client's waste management site based in Cumbernauld .This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers looking for ongoing, full-time work with a well-established operation. This role involves a mix of driving and on-site duties, operating specialist walking floor equipment, and supporting day-to-day site activity.This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday with a 6:00am start. The pay rate for this role is £15 to £17 per hour, with overtime available after 8 hours .Your Time at WorkIn this combined role, your duties will include:Driving a Class 1 vehicle to transport waste materialsOperating walking floor equipment safely and efficientlyLoading and unloading materials in line with site proceduresCompleting daily vehicle and equipment checksEnsuring all loads are secure and legally compliantCompleting delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate recordsFollowing all on-site and road safety regulationsSupporting general site duties where requiredOur Perfect WorkerOur ideal Class 1 Driver will have:A valid Class 1 (C+E) licenceDriver CPC and Digital Tachograph cardExperience with walking floor or similar equipment preferredA good understanding of health and safety within an industrial environmentThe ability to carry out manual handling tasksA reliable and punctual approach to workThe ability to work independently with a professional attitudeA flexible and hands-on approachKey Information and BenefitsEarn £15 to £17 per hour depending on experienceMonday to Friday working patternOvertime available after 8 hoursFull-time, ongoing workWeekly payTraining and induction providedOpportunity for permanent employmentSupportive and established team environmentAbout BrightworkBrightwork Ltd offers the services of an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
