Job Description
The Client Development Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, including Nielsen Brandbank’s key customers. These customers are of strategic importance to Nielsen Brandbank, and your role will focus on delivering revenue, aligning services, and strategically positioning key products and services.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing senior external stakeholders, possess strong sales skills, have a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth, and be capable of managing their own diary.
Responsibilities
* Deliver revenue targets by retaining subscription revenue and generating new business within existing accounts and new clients across various verticals.
* Manage and expand your client portfolio through cross-functional engagement, focusing on short, mid, and long-term revenue opportunities.
* Create and manage a comprehensive sales plan, identifying activities to ensure revenue growth via up-selling and cross-selling.
* Forecast revenue accurately to your line manager, maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
* Ensure retail customers receive product content for online launches promptly by actively managing communications and orders.
* Plan and direct account strategies to meet customer satisfaction and business KPIs, ensuring service and contract margins are maintained.
* Develop a thorough understanding of Nielsen Brandbank's value propositions to effectively sell solutions and handle objections.
* Build rapport with clients via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions to understand their needs and identify growth opportunities.
* Create Account Development Plans with clear objectives, goals, strategies, and measures.
* Negotiate and manage annual contracts, aiming to grow revenue and services.
* Support or directly sell additional products and services, using data and case studies to tailor proposals.
* Coordinate product deliveries, resolve operational queries, and support operational teams to ensure excellent service.
* Present to senior stakeholders within client organizations to establish strategic partnerships.
Qualifications
* Minimum 4 years of experience in FMCG and eCommerce industry.
* Proven track record of managing revenue targets and exceeding objectives.
* Strong sales experience with results-oriented achievements.
* Experience in key account management, strategic sales planning, and pipeline management.
* Ability to collaborate within diverse teams in fast-paced environments.
* Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail.
* Ability to present at Board level and lead meetings effectively.
* Software sales experience is preferable.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
* Professional appearance, articulate, and confident at all levels.
* Experience working with high-value or blue-chip clients to drive revenue growth and strategic importance.

* Travel may be required both nationally and internationally.
