A developing Independent School in Brent is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher for a permanent, full-time position starting in September. The successful Music Teacher will cultivate a love of music and develop musical skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Music Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Prepare students for GCSE Music examinations.
* Develop students' performance, composition, and listening skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Music Teacher.
* Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular musical activities (e.g., choir, instrumental groups).
* Encourage an appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and styles.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Music.
* Proven experience teaching Music at the secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* Strong musical skills (performance and theory).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities in Music.
