The Company A market-leading manufacturer is seeking an Area Sales Engineer to join their team. This role will be responsible for growing and managing sales within a defined territory (Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex), with a focus on both expanding existing business and developing new opportunities. The position involves driving solution- and value-based selling while positioning the company as a trusted solutions provider. The Role * Manage and develop accounts, ensuring strong engagement and long-term growth. * Prospect, qualify, and convert new business opportunities. * Apply consultative, value-based sales approaches to demonstrate the company’s premium offering. * Maintain accurate customer records and activity reports via CRM. * Collaborate with the wider sales team, leveraging expertise to secure opportunities. * Continuously develop product knowledge, technical expertise, and market awareness. * Represent the company as a market leader and trusted solutions partner. This role requires regular travel across East Anglia. The Candidate Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering (or equivalent). Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical sales environment. Strong technical background essential; experience in the defence sector advantageous but not required.
