Salary: £32,455 – £45,260 per year (including London Weighting)

We are seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our experienced and supportive team at our Uxbridge campus. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a department with fully refurbished workshops, modern resources, and investment in hybrid and electric vehicle technology – a growing area in our curriculum.
Teaching mainly City & Guilds qualifications to 16–19-year-old learners, you will help students gain real industry knowledge and practical skills, while preparing for the future of the automotive sector. We also have plans to expand our provision into IMI qualifications.
About the Role - Motor Vehicle Lecturer
1. Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching on Motor Vehicle qualifications
2. Inspire and motivate learners aged 16–19, developing their skills and confidence
3. Support practical workshop training in line with industry standards
4. Contribute to course development and ongoing improvement within the department
5. Play an active role in supporting learners’ progression into industry or further study
About You - Motor Vehicle Lecturer
6. Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Motor Vehicle/Automotive
7. Relevant industry experience in the Motor Vehicle sector
8. Teaching, training, or assessing experience (desirable but not essential)
9. Maths and English Level 2 (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent), or willingness to achieve
10. A recognised FE teaching qualification (DET/PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one with college support
11. Assessor award (A1 or equivalent) desirable, or willingness to obtain
