An exciting opportunity to join an established and growing engineering business is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the manufacturing of high-spec Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) systems and components. This is a hands-on role combining engineering, assembly, and problem-solving within a precision environment.
Salary: Up to £35,000

Full-Time | Permanent
Essential Requirements:
* You may be required to travel on short notice and for 3-4 days at a time. Please ensure they are happy to travel
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
* Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly)
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Good communication and teamwork abilities
Desirable:
* Experience in manufacturing or precision engineering environments
* Knowledge of materials and processes used in UHV or high-spec applications
Additional Information:
* Occasional travel to client sites may be required as part of the role
