Duties
* Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment.
* Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
* Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food safety protocols, and restaurant procedures.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong supervisory experience with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
* Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure.
* Previous experience in menu development and cost control is advantageous.
