About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate leader to join us at our Skegness Resort as part of our Buffets department as a Venue Manager.
Description
As a Venue Manager, you’ll be vital in helping our guests create smiles – getting stuck in to give them a great dining experience! You’ll be part of a big team responsible for providing our guests with breakfast and dinner in our self-service restaurants each day of their holiday.
You should enjoy developing people and be passionate about delivering exceptional experiences to guests by nurturing, training, and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment.
You will drive standards and have the ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brand standards and Butlin’s way of working.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, you’ll enjoy the buzz of a busy environment and will drive your team to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness.
You’ll have the ability to drive consistent brand standards whilst being guest-obsessed and operating efficiently in everything you do. The role involves analyzing KPIs, facilitating and monitoring all team training, and adhering to food safety and health & safety policies.
You should have a passion for leading by example and inspiring others to deliver experiences that delight our guests. You should be an advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same. You will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and prioritizing guest experience.
Typical working hours are 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, with shifts between 7am - 9pm, including weekends, bank holidays, and Christmas.
About You
We seek individuals with prior experience in volume catering and/or food environments, where speed and quality are essential. Experience in a guest-facing role, handling queries and complaints, is required.
You should be passionate about leading and developing a team, supporting them through regular 121's and coaching.
Delivering an amazing guest experience is crucial, so you should be passionate about every interaction and always seek to improve.
You should have experience managing rotas based on fluctuating guest volumes, working with multi-skilled teams, and supporting other areas based on demand. Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing performance, coaching, training, setting standards, problem-solving, and managing priorities is essential.
