We are looking for a well organised individual to ensure an effective business support service is provided to our stakeholders and customers.
Duties of the post include handling and processing manual and computerised information; instructing, allocating and checking work of employees; production and analysis of reports to deadlines; document production including typing letters, reports etc; process purchase orders and communicate with internal and external customers including members of the public.
It is essential that you have experience of; maintaining and updating records; liaising with internal and external agencies; working with a range of software packages; working in a deadline driven environment; delivering a high standard of service to internal and external customers and have effective communication and organisation skills.
It is desirable that you have experience of; supervising staff; using the PECOS system, AIS and BOXI; using Microsoft Office and a knowledge of Social Work Services systems and processes.
An SVQ level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent is also desirable.
Please note that this post is temporary, subject to business needs and funding for 6 months or until the requirement for the post ceases, whichever date is the earlier.
If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
