GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Sheffield (S35) from January 2026. As a PE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and inclusive physical education lessons that encourage students to lead active, healthy lifestyles. You will play a key role in developing students’ physical skills, confidence, and sportsmanship across the curriculum. Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach a range of sports and physical activities across Key Stages. Promote teamwork, resilience, and positive attitudes towards physical fitness. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback. Ensure safe practice and effective behaviour management during lessons. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support extracurricular sports and activities. Requirements for PE Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education. Previous experience teaching PE in secondary schools is desirable. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to motivate students of all abilities. A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
