We are supporting a Primary School that is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join the team. You will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children in Nursery and/or Reception, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
* Assist with planning and delivering EYFS activities in line with the Early Years Framework.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
* Promote positive behaviour and social development.
* Contribute to assessment, observation, and record-keeping of pupil progress.
* Support with setting up and maintaining a stimulating and safe learning environment indoors and outdoors.
We are looking for someone who
* Has experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS setting.
* Holds a relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning).
* Has a good understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
* Is warm, patient, and adaptable.
* Works well as part of a team and has strong communication skills.
* Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
