Location: Newport Contract Type: · Permanent (subject to ongoing funding) · Workplace based Hours & working: Pattern · 35 hours per week (full time) · Generally Mon- Fri with occasional evenings and/ or weekend working All team members must work flexibly on occasions to meet the needs of the Charity and the people we support Accountable to: Exploitation Service Manager Purpose of the post: To provide assistance in the management and delivery of high quality, responsive, accommodation support and services, whilst meeting the housing related needs of individuals residing within transitional supported accommodation. Specific responsibilities As a member of the operational management team, you will support the Service Manager to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality, trauma informed, person led services within Newport. Work collaboratively with the Local Authority to ensure accommodation pathways are easily accessible, allocations are appropriate, clear and concise, and to continue to promote effective multi agency working. To participate in regular panel meetings to discuss and provide input into appropriate allocations to the accommodation provision. Carry a small case load. Oversee and undertake risk assessment with/ on individuals, locations and activities and review accordingly. Oversee and develop support plans in line with the needs of those we support, and review accordingly. Support women within the accommodation to have a voice and provide feedback within the organisation and the sector, including surveys, listening sessions and external opportunities Support the accommodation team to, when appropriate, signpost and rCyfannol Women’s Aid. Being responsive to requests from other members of the organisation for quantitative and qualitative data, including for example, the creation of case studies. The ability to travel independently and in a timely manner to fulfil the requirements of the role is essential.
