Well-being Support Worker

About the Role: As a Well-being Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs to navigate their educational journey and promote their mental and emotional well-being. You will work closely with students, teachers, and families to provide the support and encouragement necessary for students to succeed both academically and personally.
Offering one-on-one and group support to students with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them build emotional resilience and well-being.
Helping students develop social and emotional skills to thrive in the school environment.
Working closely with teachers, special educational staff, and parents to create and implement individualised support plans.
Supporting students to manage their mental health needs and providing a safe, supportive space when required.
Key Skills and Qualities:
A genuine passion for supporting students with SEN and SEMH needs.
Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach to supporting young people.
Ability to implement tailored support strategies and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in supporting students with SEN/SEMH or in a similar well-being or educational role is highly desirable.
