Job Responsibilities:

1. Maintain all electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on machinery, robotics, lasers, ancillary, and material handling equipment to ensure 95% efficiency and utilization.
2. Assist in implementing and maintaining proactive maintenance systems for PPM and TPM.
3. Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and provide first-time fixes to reduce downtime, including fault finding and repair on electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.
4. Respond effectively and promptly to all breakdowns.
5. Adhere to all company HSE policies and procedures at all times, including compliance with LOTO procedures.
6. Recommend improvements to equipment and processes to enhance quality and productivity.
7. Perform safety checks and routine preventive maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
8. Replace and repair parts such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.
9. Adjust devices and control instruments, replace electrical parts as needed.
10. Observe machinery in operation to locate causes of trouble, dismantle machinery for repairs, and inspect parts for dimensional changes.
11. Repair or replace defective parts, lubricate and clean components, and test machinery performance.
12. Implement continuous improvement activities to reduce costs.
13. Perform any other tasks assigned by management.


Qualifications and Experience:

* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
* Previous experience in a high-volume, high-class automotive environment.
* Experience with injection molding machines.
* Practical mechanical and electrical engineering skills.
* Effective time management and communication skills.
* Experience with Robotics (ABB 6 Axis, Fanuc) and PLC programming.
* Knowledge of quality systems such as IATF16949 / ISO 9000 is advantageous.
* Flexible and willing to work outside normal hours and on emergency call-outs.
* Understanding of IATF16949 / ISO9001 standards.
