About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Orchard Manor School based in Norfolk. The postholder will work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead, balancing clinical leadership and a therapy caseload. Responsibilities include delivering bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, meeting EHCP plan requirements, line managing the onsite clinical team, and leading service development alongside the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
Responsibilities
* Clinically lead the team and provide therapy caseload support.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for pupils with complex profiles.
* Ensure compliance with EHCP plans and the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working.
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members.
* Lead service development of the clinical school-based service with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
* Promote a person-centred, empowering approach and a strong safeguarding culture.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification in a specific discipline, at least 5 years’ experience as a clinician with leadership and managerial experience.
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration & membership of professional bodies such as BPS.
* Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
* Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities.
* Experience of providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
* Ability to work independently and dynamically within a growing and developing clinical service.
* Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty (preferred).
* Full UK valid driving licence and access to own vehicle.
