We are recruiting an experienced Groundwork Supervisor to join our client’s expanding team. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a well-established Civils & Construction company based in Aberdeenshire, delivering projects across the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising groundwork teams on site, ensuring high standards of work, and managing day-to-day operations efficiently. You must have a solid background in groundworks, ideally with hands-on experience in concrete works. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise and coordinate groundwork teams across various sites. * Manage all aspects of groundwork projects including drainage, bases, foundations, and excavation. * Organise plant, materials, and equipment as required. * Ensure work is delivered in line with project timelines and specifications. * Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations. * Conduct regular quality checks to maintain excellent workmanship. Requirements: * Proven experience in groundwork and/or concrete operations. * Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. * In-depth knowledge of construction practices and Health & Safety procedures. * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings. * SSSTS or SMSTS – essential * CSCS card – essential * CPCS/NPORS for Excavator (above and below 10T) and Dumper/Roller – advantageous * First Aid at Work – advantageous * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across Scotland.
