We are currently looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our Environment and Regeneration Directorate as a Senior Assistant Engineer. This permanent position is based within the Engineering Team at The Quays, Baglan Energy Park. As a Senior Assistant Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our community.
In this role, you will be responsible for the management of the coal tips, providing technical services to both internal and external clients, supporting the team in specialist areas, and overseeing the implementation of engineering schemes from design through to completion. Key duties include preparing and reviewing contract documents, supervising construction and maintenance projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards. You will also be expected to manage project budgets, liaise with stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical and managerial systems within the team.
