NOVA Data Quality Assistant

Mid and South Essex Foundation Trust (MSEFT) and Essex Partnership University Foundation Trust (EPUT) are implementing a UK first Unified Electronic Patient Record (UEPR) system across Acute, Mental Health and Community services through the Nova Programme.
The role is part of the Data Quality team, responsible for improving data quality across patient systems. The successful candidate will be based at EPUT’s main site, The Lodge in Wickford, Essex, with remote/home working and may work across MSEFT and EPUT sites as required.
Responsibilities
* Support sustainable improvement in data quality across all patient‑based systems through data quality audits and metrics.
* Validate patient‑level data from daily data quality reports, resolving data errors efficiently.
* Produce and update data quality dashboards for senior managers, operational staff and business support units.
* Obtain supplementary information from other Trust and National IT systems and patient health records to correct data quality errors.
* Identify data quality trends, assess common themes using queries and reporting, and highlight significant errors and risks to senior team members.
* Assist Data Quality Analysts in resolution of data quality issues, including testing of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) processes and departmental pathway flows.
* Maintain and annually test a suite of SOPs.
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs including English & Maths or NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
Knowledge and Skills
* Previous experience working within an NHS environment.
* Highly accurate keyboard skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Advanced Microsoft Programme knowledge.
* Experience using Summary Care Records.
