Meet Our Client
Our client is a friendly and independent woman living at home with her sister and their small dog. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, attending art classes and exploring new places. She loves trying new experiences and values a lifestyle that is active, social and engaging.
Due to some memory difficulties, she benefits from support with planning, organisation and maintaining routines. She appreciates gentle prompts and assistance with appointments, managing information and day-to-day tasks both at home and in the community. Being comfortable around dogs is important, as regular dog walking forms part of her routine.
About the Role
1. Providing 1:1 support at home and in the community
2. Supporting daily routines, household tasks and medication monitoring
3. Supporting appointments, travel and communication with professionals
4. Assisting with emails, letters and general correspondence
5. Encouraging access to social, leisure and community activities
6. Offering companionship, emotional support and promoting wellbeing
7. Supporting with dog walking and maintaining independence
8. Maintaining professional, respectful boundaries
About You
9. Full clean UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle required (business insurance needed or willingness to obtain this)
10. Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
11. Calm, patient and reliable with good communication skills
12. Organised and confident supporting someone at home and in the community
13. Comfortable around dogs
14. Care experience desirable but not essential with a person-centred approach
