Job Title: School Office Manager
Location: Secondary School, Liverpool
Start Date: Monday 19th January
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
Pay Rate: £17.00 - £18.50 per hour (depending on experience)
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Office Manager to join a busy secondary school in Liverpool. This is a key role at the heart of the school, overseeing the day-to-day running of the school office and providing essential administrative support to senior leaders, staff, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the daily operations of the school office
Leading and supporting office/administrative staff
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies
Overseeing attendance, admissions, and pupil records
Managing SIMS/Arbor (or similar MIS systems)
Supporting finance processes, orders, and invoicing
Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements
Providing administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team
Essential Requirements
Previous experience working in a school office (essential)
Experience in a senior administrative or office management role
Strong knowledge of school systems, policies, and procedures
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work calmly and effectively in a fast-paced school environment
