Lead Antimicrobial Pharmacist opportunity at Frimley Park Hospital, part of Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. Join a team focused on antimicrobial stewardship to improve patient care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the development of a culture that promotes excellence in antimicrobial prescribing and reduces infection risks
* Leading, planning, and delivering audits on antimicrobial prescribing and compliance with Trust policies
* Identifying cost-saving opportunities through evidence-based antimicrobial use
* Designing and implementing AMS-related training programmes for pharmacy, medical, and nursing staff
* Liaising with consultants and multidisciplinary teams across the Trust to promote AMS best practice
* Contributing to the review and development of Trust-wide antimicrobial guidelines and policies

This is a fantastic opportunity to influence clinical practice and contribute to national AMR goals.
The post holder must have hospital pharmacy experience involving clinical pharmacy skills as well teaching skills. The role requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team, through excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to motivate themselves and others. To be successful in this application the post holder must demonstrate confidence as a senior clinical pharmacist and be a role model to more junior staff.
