Contract Term: Part term, permanent (37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year)
Salary: Scale 4, Point 7 (FTE: £29,346 / Actual: £25,219 per annum)
Start date: September 2025
The Governors Are Seeking To Appoint An Enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. The Cover Supervisor Will Support Classes In The Absence Of a Teacher, Ensuring That High Standards Of Behaviour And Learning Are Maintained And Students Engage With The Set Work. We Are Looking For Someone With Experience Of Working With Students. This Is a Great Opportunity To Join a Dynamic And Friendly Team. As a Cover Supervisor You Will
* Be able to continue the learning of students, even in the absence of their regular teacher, carrying out work pre-set by a subject specialist
* Be required to effectively conduct a variety of lessons and manage the student's behaviour in a calm and collected manner
* Serve the mission of St Edwards Academy by supporting a high-quality education to raise student wellbeing, emotional resilience, and achievement
