A welcoming, forward-thinking primary school in the SN5 area is seeking a dedicated Supply Teacher to join their team.
The Role
This full-time role involves providing cover across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. Youll play a key part in maintaining learning continuity and supporting pupil progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering engaging, pre-prepared lessons across different year groups
* Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Adapting quickly to new routines and expectations
* Marking work and leaving clear feedback for the returning teacher
* Supporting the learning and well-being of all pupils
* Communicating effectively with staff and pupils
* Following safeguarding, health & safety, and all other school policies
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2
* Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management
* Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to new settings quickly
* Committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
