About Our Client
Michael Page are working with a well-established, family-run business going through a period of continued growth and evolution. They are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their experienced team.
Job Description
Duties include:
1. Daily inputting of purchase invoices onto accounting system
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Supplier/customer statement reconciliation
4. Raise sales invoices
5. Sales reconciliations
6. Maintain accrual & prepayment schedules
7. Assist with month-end processes
8. Posting month-end journals
9. Maintain fixed asset register & post depreciation
10. Prepare weekly, monthly & quarterly financial reports
11. Maintain and manage ledger accounts
12. Expense tracking
13. Any other ad-hoc duties as required by management
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have/be:
1. Experience within a similar accountancy role - Required
2. Studying towards accountancy qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) - Desirable
3. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
4. Ability to work on your own initiative - Required
5. Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
6. High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
