HGV Class 1 Driver Role Location: Derby, DE65 5BY Role : Trunking Pay Rate: £18.51 to £41.48 Job Type: Possible Temp-Perm position for the right candidates Shifts: Around 12 hours - starts times open to discussion (2hr windows) What You'll Be Doing: CTRG Limited are looking for experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support with grocers and wholesale items, delivering them to the appropriate destinations. You will be working for one of our most prestigious brands on the UK market, you will be part of a fast-growing team with an excellent fleet of vehicles available to you. You will be expected to Trunk full pallet loads to grocers and wholesalers, providing excellent service and good time keeping. Candidates who apply must have a minimum 2 years HGV Class 1 driving experience. Info : * PM shifts only * Adhoc and ongoing work available * 12-hour shifts * Preferred start times available - within a 2-hour window Duties : * Depot to wholesalers/grocers. * Full pallet loads, no cages * Vehicles loaded and unloaded on site - no loading/unloading required for the drivers. Must have: * Valid Class 1 (CE) licence * Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience * No more than 6 points on licence * Standard driver qualifications required (CPC & Digi Card) Understanding of Driver's Hours & Working Time Directive Ability to complete vehicle safety checks and report defects Strong communication skills and a flexible, can-do attitude Drivers must undergo a written assessment, driving assessment, and drug & alcohol screening Rates : PAYE rates (standard and RUH available) Nights £18.51 to £20.74 p/h Overtime £23.14 to £25.93 p/h 6th Shift payment: £37.02 to £41.48 p/h Apply Today: Click APPLY NOW and someone from our friendly team will give you a call.
