Sports Coach Teaching Assistant - Start Your Career in Education
Location - Manchester (M12)
Pay - £475-£550 per week, depending on experience
Start date - 20/04/2026
Contract Type - Full-Time
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom and physical activity experience, work closely with children and young people, and develop the skills needed for a long-term career in education, coaching, or youth development.
Role Overview:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis, both in and out of the classroom
* Assisting teachers with classroom activities, PE sessions, and behaviour management
* Encouraging positive behaviour, teamwork, and engagement through physical activity
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and active learning environment
What We're Looking For:
* A background in sports coaching, PE, or a related subject
* Experience working with children or young people (coaching, mentoring, camps, clubs, or schools)
* Energy, resilience, and a proactive attitude

To Be Eligible You Must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK
* Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service (or be willing to apply)
* Be able to provide two professional child-related references
