Location: 3 days per week in office required

The role

We are looking for a proactive and high performing Assistant Management Accountant to join the team and support the agency.

You will be hands on and responsible for the end to end AP and AR processes, management accounts preparation and supporting with budgeting and forecasting.As part of the role you will also work with the Client Services Team and be on hand to answer any queries raised by staff, external clients and providers. You will help implement the businesses financial policies wherever necessary, ensuring that all staff are aware of and following the appropriate ways of working.

You will be able to demonstrate your attention to detail and your excellent communication skills when dealing with high profile brands and projects, and showcase your enthusiasm and confidence when dealing with both senior business and finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

●Assist in preparing the monthly consolidated accounts, including Profit & Loss, Gross Profit and Balance Sheet, and work with the budget holders to obtain context to the numbers

●Provide insightful commentary on monthly financial performance and variances

●Ensure timely and accurate processing of sales and purchase invoices

●Assisting with annual audit

●Manage credit control for all debtors and escalate issues as and when required

●Ensure payments are made accurately and with appropriate authorisation

●Process expense claims for staff on a timely basis

●Promptly answer and resolve queries from clients, suppliers, and internal departments

●Work with customers to resolve open reconciliation issues

●Support the wider team with ad hoc duties and project work

●Other work as required by the business from time to time

Skills required

●Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role

●Currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification

●Experience in an agency environment desirable

●Excellent spoken and written English

●Strong organisational skills and ability to efficiently multi-task

●Systems knowledge of Xero and Excel required

●Enthusiastic, dependable, and willing team player

●Arabic speaking, and exposure to cross border working would be hugely beneficial
