Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on various commercial projects, ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.
Duties
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out installation and repair tasks.
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and codes while performing electrical work.
* Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their electrical needs.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are preferred.
* A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.

Key requirements
* · City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
* · City & Guilds Electrical Parts I & II and/or equivalent
* · Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
* · ECS/CSCS Gold card required.
* · 2391 or equivalent advantage but not a must.
* · Experienced in working within a site environment on commercial building sites as the main contractor or for the main contractor as a sub-contractor
* · The ability to multi-skill and possessing a flexible approach with a 'Can-Do' attitude.
* · Driving License (own transport required).
