Join Our Team as a Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative at Equans UK & Ireland
We are seeking a dedicated Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team in Staffordshire. This full-time position offers a 40-hour workweek, a competitive salary, a company vehicle, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of grounds and gardens maintenance tasks across all stations, including mowing, strimming, weeding, pruning, seasonal planting, general upkeep, winter gritting, and litter picking.
* Maintain footpaths, walkways, car parks, and other hard-standing areas, including snow removal and repairs.
* Conduct lawn inspections and apply fertilizers and pesticides as needed.
* Operate machinery such as rotovators, strimmers, pressure washers, and blowers.
* Ensure all activities comply with Health & Safety guidelines and policies, especially since the role involves working within public areas.

Candidate Requirements
* Experience in grounds maintenance
* Attention to detail and ability to communicate standards to team members
* Experience in completing risk assessments and method statements
* Valid UK driving license
* Desirable: PA1 & PA6 spraying qualifications
* Ability to pass a DBS Enhanced check is essential.
